This morning at about 4:42am we had a rumble in the jungle…better known as an earthquake. That shit woke up out of my sleep. It felt like Kimoni was behind me pushing me to wake me up. I even turned around and said “Hunh”. Then I noticed he wasn’t in my bed and my entire apartment was rocking back and forth. I just laid there like “aww shit we havin an earthquake”. Every time we’ve had these things since I’ve lived out here they never last more than 4 seconds. That is the longest 4.2 seconds ever though. I swear it is. As soon as it was over, like the big baby I am, I ran to the living room and called my mama (shut up!). She was wide awake and was like “That was a big one!” I layed there for a while waiting for the aftershock. Then fell back asleep.
I’m ready to move now. :frown: If that wasn’t yet another sign of why I’m not feeling Cali anymore, then I don’t know what is. I’ve decided that I’m moving back to Atlanta by January 2008. I keep saying “I’m moving to
New York, oh I’m moving to New Jersey, oh I’m moving to Detroit“ Nah fuck all that, I’m going home. I’ve been trying not to move back home so fast because I know me. And once I get to Atlanta, I’m not going anywhere ever again. I love Atlanta. For me, there is simply nothing like it. I can’t wait to get back home. So this summer I’m going to have to tighten my wad and save my money for moving. that means I only have 2 trips left for the rest of the year unless somebody is paying for it. 😆
Do any of you live in natural disaster areas?
Have you ever experienced an earthquake?
